Oh how sweet, so he isn't a crazy dictator. He just 'hates Bush'.

The last 6 vetoes of legislative action by Bush will follow him to his grave. He is not the successful dictator that he fancies himself to be.

#1 I would like to know why you think bush is a dictator?

#2 Why do you think bush is as bad as chavez?

No, I think he means he isn't a crazy dictator like Bush.

Why do you disprove of Chavez? He has been democratically elected twice, in elections no more or less fair than the ones that elected Bush.
The U.S. dislikes Chavez because he has refused to allow them to meddle in Venezuelan affairs.

Yea, he has shut down TV stations that disagree with him, has his thugs in the streets to attack protesters, and has the government take over private companies

Chavez does care about his country and the future of his country and the great majority of it's peoples. The 85% poverty rate is less than he inherited and he intends to reduce it even further. Do you actually think he enjoys the sight of his own countrymen eating out of trashcans like the current prez of the United States Of America enjoys cheating it's own Veterans?

Our vets are treated with disdain by many Americans. They have been marching on Washinton DC ever since the Civil War for their rights and promises of consideration. Most of their pleas fall on very deaf and unconcerned ears.

Dems here would do the same thing and use the excuse it is the concern for the welfare of the people. So sure shut down Fox news, conservative talk radio, have the government take over the oil companies, the health care industry, and put "security forces" on the street to silence any protesters. Is that what you would like to see happen here. It is what Hugo has done to his people

Dems have never tried to silence "conservative talk radio". They have, however, supported the "Fairness Doctrine". Don't you believe that the marketplace of American ideals should be represented by all the players? I already know how you're going to respond to that and have I got some news for you?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Give it your best shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just exactly when did Hillary say she was going to "take oil company profits"? And just when did Hillary say that she was going to take over the health care industry? I don't recall any of that!!!!! Have you anything to back that up? I doubt it.

If you're scared, say you're scared. Otherwise keep your lies to yourself. You can't increase your credibility by that inclination but you can certainly diminish it by repeating those lies.

The marketplace has decided - that is why liberal talk radio fails most of the time. Folks do not want to listen to libs preach their hate and rafe

Here is the quote on Hillary saying she will take the profits of oil companies

Speaking today at the DNC's winter meeting, she let that same Hillary-knows-best side show:

"The other day the oil companies recorded the highest profits in the history of the world. I want to take those profits. And I want to put them into a strategic energy fund that will begin to fund alternative smart energy, alternatives and technologies that will actually begin to move us in the direction of independence.

Do you remember Hillary care in the early 90's and how she has said she wants to bring it back?

So you don't think Micheal Powell of the FCC had anything to do with it? I understand that he is now a Democrat. I wonder how that happened? His daddy ain't pushing Republican buttons either, why's that?

So the reason liberal talk radio is a total failuire is because Mikeeal Powell is no longer head of the FCC?

History lesson PB - BEFORE Air America went on the air, the NY Times ran about 12 front page stories on how the liberal network would finally counter Rush and Sean

The liberal media was giddy over the network and gave them a huge amount of free publicity

It still went bankrupt, and is currently in the basement of ratings - where it has been for years

So do you want people to be FORCED to listen to their crap? This is the same mindest you libs have about Fox News. It bugs the hell out of you people CHOOSE to watch Fox News over the other liberal cable networks (and CHOOSE to listen to Rush and Sean and not Dead Air America)

Thats not TALK radio, thats talk to yourself radio

talk radio is about listener participation, and having guests you dont always agree with.

Another example of the liberal media and how they mix opinions with the news

CNN's Roland Martin Suggests Most Pro-Lifers Seem 'Hateful'
By Brad Wilmouth | January 5, 2008 - 19:15 ET
On Friday afternoon, CNN's liberal contributor Roland Martin suggested that most people who are pro-life seem "hateful" as he was describing Mike Huckabee's need to reach out to non-evangelical voters. During an appearance on CNN Newsroom at about 1:47 p.m. with anchor Kyra Phillips, Martin contended that Huckabee needs to pursue a strategy similar to that of President Bush in 2000: "Sure, [Huckabee is] a staunch pro-life person, but he isn't perceived as being hateful as other people who are pro-life." (Transcript follows)

Below is a transcript of the relevant portion of Martin's comments from the Friday January 4 CNN Newsroom:

What Huckabee also has to do, though, because the conventional wisdom says Huckabee is only attractive to evangelicals, and so what he is trying to do is what George W. Bush did in 2000. Take his faith and be able to say, "Now let me be compassionate when it comes to the economy, when it comes to education, when it comes to health care. Sure, I'm a staunch pro-life person," but he isn't perceived as being hateful as other people who are pro-life.

I thought he was the least vile of all of them, and was the only one to occasionally say anything that made sense.

His comments about steve irwin make me hope lionel gets eaten by a lion or killed by a shark, since he loves trashing the memory of the dead, and whats worse, steve irwin cared about animals, he wanted to save them by educating people on them, and he was a great guy

He really cared...
