So - find a photo of a landmark where you have 'been.' I don't wanna see ANY photos of "Anna Nichole' because odds are, at least ONE guy here has 'been there'.

Only one photo of one location per reply, please.

I've been there....and I won't go back. (And if you ever seen yourself on the other end of a mouth like that, you shouldn't either).

Spent an interesting week on this ranch in 1986. Lady Bird still lived there then.

Hah. It's kind of funny when you get there and realize, 'oh, it's just a convenience store.' As though people would be playing hockey on the roof or something.

One thing that both movies did very well is to hide how small the place truly is. Even though they had entire scenes in front of the area between Quik Stop and RST, there's maybe ten feet of space between them. Movie magic!

Why are we linking to my images?

is that what happened? not intentional. I thought that was one of the smilies on the list to the right, and i figured instead of searching through to find it, I would just copy and paste it. Sorry, didn't meant to 'steal/link' to something of yours. You want me to remove it?

how about peebles scotland?

The church of St. Andrew of Peebles was founded in 1195. The church was so damaged in 1549 by an English force and later that in 1560 the parishioners left the building and transferred to Cross Kirk. It is believed locally that the army’s horses of a force of 3000 Cromwellian soldiers were stabled in the ruined St. Andrew’s Kirk. In 1663 the stones from Kirk were taken for the widening of Tweed Bridge. Anyway there are many fine old gravestones to be found in the graveyard.

I camped here when I was about 10. For some reason the lake actually looks bigger (which is possible given that many "lakes' in the area are man made).

It was the worst camping experience ever.

If you'll take a second and look to the bottom left of the photo, you will notice what looks like a field or something. Anyway, that was (and very well might still be) a cattle ranch. The day we left, we woke up to find cattle everywhere in the camp grounds AND it was pouring rain. We weren't infested with ants, noooooooo we were infested with cattle. There were things in the water that scratched us. We had tents.Bad memories, man.

Dunns River Falls
Ocho Rios, Jamaica

You climb the cascading falls the same way you would a hill or mountian. The people in the pic are taking the slow, wussy way up with a guide. If you climb up the steep slopes on your own, it's actually fun, but you lose their insurance coverage. Yet another thing lawyers have ensured will never happen in the states.
