not only is this the who knows how many crooked(DEMOCRAT) politicians from LA. going to jail for some sort of corruption...
But the new thing that the lamestream media IS DOING...is for the Democrats...they will not name their party affiliation until the last sentence of an article or as in this article...not At ALL...

something to look out for with the crooked lamestream media..
if this had been a Republican...it would of been in Every other sentence....

be on the lookout for this...you will see this is happening....A LOT...

Former Memphis City Council member Rickey Peete has been ordered to report to federal prison on Jan. 3 to begin serving a 51-month sentence for accepting $12,000 in bribes for his vote on a zoning issue.

Peete, 52, pleaded guilty to the federal charges in June, his second conviction for selling his votes.

He was ordered Monday to report next month to the Federal Prison Camp at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Ala.

He will join former County Commissioner Michael Hooks who began serving a 26-month sentence there last summer for accepting $26,200 in bribes from informants or FBI agents posing as crooked businessmen seeking business with the county.

Peete was convicted in 1989 of extorting a $1,000 bribe from a developer and served two years in federal prison. He was reelected to the council in 1985.
