Eye Exam

A Ukrainian immigrant goes to the Department of Motor Vehicles to apply for a driver's license. He has to take an eye test. The clerk shows him a card with the letters:

C R Z W I X N O S T A C Z

"Can you read this?" the clerk asks.

"Read it?" the Ukrainian replies, "I know the guy!"

For my American History course, I had a professor whose last name was Przybyschewski. She said, "This is how Polish people come up with their last names: they throw the alphabet in the blender, and what comes out is their family name."
