It originally was 1983, '84 & '85. It was actually pretty darn good, with stars like Herschel Walker, Jim Kelly, Steve Young, Reggie White... The New Jersey Generals, Michigan Panthers, Philadelphia Stars... Not sure how many more. And Donald Trump was all in and he owned the New Jersey Generals. Majority owner anyway. And then after 3 years they were done with, bankruptcy. And now tonight is the inaugural game of the USFL part 2! After approx. 36yrs or so. I would love for it to take off, the more football to squeeze in year round the better! -- The USFL is back this weekend — Here are the top QBs and where you might know them from The USFL is back this weekend with eight teams from the original league, which existed in the 1980s. This is the third spring league in recent years, but it's trying to become the first to complete a season since the original XFL in 2001. The USFL will play a 10-week regular season with all games taking place in Birmingham, Alabama. There will be a four-team playoff in Canton, Ohio. Unlike the original USFL, which poached big stars from the NFL with big contracts, this incarnation is like other spring leagues, with rosters filled with players looking for a shot to get back to the NFL or get there for the first time. Here's a look at the top quarterbacks on every team for the debut season. Do you remember them? But I don't watch much football. The drone following the plays? Unwatchable. The camera in one players face for about 2 minutes on the sideline? Unwatchable. /oldmanrant -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : jimnyc Date : 04-17-2022 01:23 PM Awful. But I don't watch much football. The drone following the plays? Unwatchable. The camera in one players face for about 2 minutes on the sideline? Unwatchable. /oldmanrant Definitely a lot of weird new angles that you won't see in the NFL. They have 57 different camera angles and many are weird technology, whereas the NFL has 22 cameras and mostly all stationary. And apparently 16 players from each team will be wearing microphones for the sound effects. But boy do they need to learn how to utilize all of it properly, and when to use them & for how long for each one. I love football & I love drones - but they don't mix. I don't like those angles nor the movement. The sidelines are due to a certain amount of players having built in cameras in their helmets - but damn, gotta learn how to switch around the views so as not to swamp the viewer. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Debate Policy - Political Message Board (http://www.debatepolicy.com) at 03-29-2024 04:08 AM.
