I like to watch only for the accidents and pile-ups. You don't get that kind of excitement with F1 (or any other racing circuit). I mean, where else can you watch a 15 car pile-up, and not be in the sonofabitch?

Then the redneck jokes. Ok, fine, comes with the territory, because of NASCAR's roots and audience base. However, the pit crews and mechanics in this sport, know more about physics, engineering & aerodynamics than most NASA employees. Not just dumb redneck greasemonkeys tinkering with 750+hp engine.

Oh come on Mr. P, lighten up.

Nothin wrong with a good "stock car race", kinda got my tongue in cheek on that one.

I find it refreshing to watch something that pretends to be nothing more than it is, don't you?
If ya can't prove it, don't say it.
Bikes, babes, and beer, it don't get no better than that.

Love NASCAR -- my ex and I had a sprint car for a few years. We also built a sand drag track and played with those cars for a few years. Also had a flat bottom Hondo we raced at Lake Ming.

Love going fast...............and the tingle between the ears when they go past.

Rooted for Biffle last year - but our new driver is Casey Mears this year.

Which one - Kurt or Kyle?

It'll be interesting to see if anyone without their normal crew chief can win with their replacement.
