I am pleased to announce that Avatar has been brought aboard our staff team.
Avatar has been around with us going back to the old board days, where he was a member of staff then too. He has always shown himself to be fair, polite and a good contributor to the board.
Please join me in congratulating him, and wishing him luck with his new responsibilities and headaches that come with them!

Out of curiosity, what's YOUR point? I don't see what a persons gender or party affiliation has to do with moderation. A moderator needs to remain fair and impartial, have the ability to perform basic functions such as edit/delete/move & assist in keeping the board moving forward in a fluid manner.
Party affiliation or gender should and will not play any part in moderation of this board. Moderation on this board has proven that point time and time again, and the few select times that things may have been performed in a manner I thought was unfair in any way, I do what I can to make changes to keep the community happy.
Additionally, I also have other aspects of the board in the works where I want to include supporters of both party affiliations. Were you not asked to participate? Did you not even bother to reply to my inquiry?
So please, save me the drama about bias, it simply doesn't hold water no matter how many times or how loudly people cry.
