I think all the math questions put you in a mindset to answer whatever question they give you as quickly as possible, and I guess maybe red is generally the first color that most people think of. And, I guess it makes sense that hammer would be the tool that most people immediately think of when they're being rushed.

For the record, I said brown hammer. I've seen this trick before on magic shows on TV, though it had something to do with color, animal, and country, I think.

interesting, i said blue hammer (gasps as mfm said the same as I) and could not figure out why. color - blue is my favorite, so automatic, but hammer? the human psyche is very interesting and apparently easily manipulated
