Default Shocking Story of Gay Porn as Required Reading in High School

We can have gay books, but can't say God in the Pledge. This Nation is slowly sinking.

The story of an Illinois high school making a gay pornographic play required reading for seniors has been reported since March 7th, but it has been ignored for the most part with only a handful of news outlets having taken on this issue. The fact that a public high school that requires such reading doesn’t raise a fuss in the media shows how the media supports the gay agenda, of course.

The book, “Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes,” has numerous passages that describes gay sexual encounters in exacting, sometimes violent, detail.

The book, “Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes,” has numerous passages that describes gay sexual encounters in exacting detail, some of them violent.

Initially, this book was required reading for college-bound seniors, but a Deerfield community group was successful in getting the book removed from the required list and placed on an opt-in list.

Matt Barber, director of cultural issues with Concerned Women for America, was amazed by the explicit nature of the book.

Barber said, “This isn’t a First Amendment issue. This is about school officials betraying the community trust. Heads need to roll here. Assigning this racist, pornographic smut to high school kids is nothing short of child abuse.”

This same school district has been in hot water before for trying to slip in under the radar homosexual advocacy into the curriculum.

It is a States issue and not a national one though, so maybe that is why it stayed out of the media? But it seems outrageous enough to make the maine stream media!!!!

I just wished that parents would pay closer attention to these kind of things happening in their own children's schools and would VOTE OUT the school board members that allow this kind of crap to happen!

"Angels in America" is actually quite good if it's the same play I'm thinking of. I think Showtime did a live-action version of it.

There is a lot of great literary work that should not be required reading for a public school. It appears that the school board has an agenda that they want to pass on to the students. One must wonder how the media would handle this if the required reading were say the Book of Genesis from the Bible or something similar.

I have no problem with the school district making the book available to students, but required reading? Why?

A State requiring a class to read the Bible (which is near impossible to do in a sememster....I have been working on getting through all of the old and the new testaments for over a decade now and still am not through!!! lol)

I would need to know more information regarding the requirement. If it was required reading, for the study of religions and how they impacted our society or something in that manner I would think that it should be okay as a required read....as would the Koran or any other religious material.

And as long as no one is being "witnessed" to or as long as no one is being forced to choose or to follow a religion of the gvt, it seems to me that the State should be allowed to do such.

    fyi
Massachusetts had a State Church until some time in the mid 1800's I believe and the Feds could not stop them or did not even try to stop them?

Why is the question. The answer... because faggots can't reproduce, and since their mental illness has always been around, it's been around in very small numbers. But since the homos have gained a little ground verbally assaulting anyone that speaks out against their perversion, they feel they can now take the next steps in perpetuating it, and how are they going to do that? In schools of course. The bastion of liberally controlled day jail for impressionable children. They're plan is to indoctrinate school kids with their filthy disease in an attempt to recruit new butt buddies.

Well, it's not pushing a gay "agenda." The main character of the book just happens to be gay. I think the existence of gay people is the real "issue" here.

Maybe the book itself isn't pushing the homo agenda, but school officials making it mandatory to read it jamming it down school kids throats IS.
