    Default Offbeat rock bands

There are times when I don't want to listen to conventional rock music. The usual verse-chorus, guitar-bass-drums-other. I want to here music that is entertaining, but totally different in structure and style.
That is when I listen to Deerhoof. Check them out.

Warning: Deerhoof is an acquired taste. You either love them or you hate them.

    And you were a dog
I'd throw a stick for you

Saw Deerhoof live twice. Their drummer is amazing, the rest of the band is really good, but it seems like they're trying to keep up with him. My favorite track is "Dummy Discards a Heart."
