Barr polling at 5% or better in 26 states

Obama: 40
McCain: 37
(national Libertarian Party candidate) Bob Barr: 10
Nader: 2

The reason for his puzzlement? In January Ron Paul got some 18,000 votes in the New Hampshire GOP primary. If you assume that every one of these Granite State citizens now plans to vote for Barr, that still amounts to just 2% to 3% of the expected turnout in November. “So Barr at 10 percent right now is tough to believe.”

Quite interesting, Jeff, and presumably indicative of a substantial turning-away from the extremely poor main-party offerings.

Now, I wouldn't trust Zogby no matter WHAT he says; he's just so perpetually wrong. However, these are interesting numbers, all right.

Im not sure id agree that he hasnt had major media coverage. It may not be constant. But he has been seen in the media alot more than most libertarian candidates.

Im still not sure Id vote for him. But then i havent made any final decisions yet.
