McCain Camp Knocks Down Enquirer’s Palin Rumor

(ST. PAUL, MINN.) – John McCain’s campaign threatened legal action against the National Enquirer today for running a story about McCain’s running mate, Sarah Palin, allegedly having an affair with her husband’s business partner.

“The smearing of the Palin family must end. The allegations contained on the cover of the National Enquirer insinuating that Gov. Palin had an extramarital affair are categorically false. It is a vicious lie,” said McCain senior adviser Steve Schmidt.

We'd expect no less from the DNC and its minions: hateful, vile, and unconcerned with the underlying principles of the US Constitution they try so, to wrap themselves in. Free speech? "Bring back the Fairness Doctrine". Second Amendment, "Guns kill people, not people kill people." "Let them have the guns, outlaw the ammunition." Freedom of religion? "Only for those who worship at the point of the sword or over dead babies." Freedom to enjoy one's property, "Only if it's non-smoking, green, no transfats, sugars, commercial free for 13 year olds and younger, and won't benefit us more by knocking it down, building condos and our tax base."
