As a matter of fact, though, she's no more traveling, and thus eligible for the per diem, than other government workers who live the same distance or farther from their normal workplace. She's taking unfair advantage of the multiple offices available to the governor.

How many people do you know who commute daily 850 miles each way?

BTW...there's another way to put "probably isn't unlawful". It's called "perfectly legal". If she wasn't eligible to receive per diem and claimed and received it, it would be an entirely different matter.
