3/15/80 Ides of March, I should have heeded.
7/28/81 My wonderful daughter was born, I watched Princess Di get married in the wee hours.
5/16/83 My first son was born, totally non-eventful in the great scheme of things, yet he raised his head and cooed less than 5 minutes after birth, the ob was amazed and this kid has never been of the norm.
8/9/85 The last of my kids, a boy. After weeks of false labor, he chose to be born at 8 pm, on the night of a bus crash going to the Bruce Springsteen concert. I got to the hospital 3 hours after the 'water broke', they cut off my jeans and lo and behold, Derek entered the world. Thank god none of my kids were able to make an appearance without the docs help.Otherwise, he'd have been born on LSD, (Lake Shore Drive, not the drug.)

1981 Paroled from High School, got out 6 months early. Got into the Millwrights Union at age 17.
1986 Oldest son born
1989 Youngest son born
1996 Became a Christian
