"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself."
    Tullius Cicero (106-43 BC)

Ya, it's not the gov. of Haiti's fault that it's people are starving. It must be white people's greed. Bambam needs to put the blame firmly at the feet of the people running these governments instead of looking for a scapegoat.

He ignores that fact that Americans in 2006 gave 295 billion to charities and most of that money was given by individuals.

Donations from individuals, including bequests, accounted for 83.3 percent of total giving last year, or $245.8 billion,

And, America has helped Haiti so many times in so many ways it is ridiculous... The Afro's on Haiti are former Afro German/French so perhaps Obama should talk down to Germany and France on how Haiti people live?

Haiti will never improve unless they vote in a government that actually cares about it's citizens and starts to do something to help them. White greed or racism is the least of their problems.......

My father has lived in the Dominican Republic on and off for almost 15years, my mother and 2 younger sisters lived there for a while also and attended school.
While still a 3rd world country with problems of it's own, electricity is a little spotty for example. They don't have the problems that Haiti does. It's people are not starving and deforestation is not an issue. They have tourism, not much, but it is there.
Here are two countries sharing the same very small island, yet one is constantly in the news because of it's starving or flooded population and the other........you never hear about.
