Last time I checked, Senator McCain's job was Senator from the state of Arizona. That responsibility has not disappeared simply because he is running from President.

He couldn't just fly there and VOTE on something???

He's falling apart all right: polls show the public's opinion of Sarah Palin has fallen like a rock since the GOP convention. Joe Biden is polling much better than Sarah Palin. I reported all that on another thread. People are not as dumb as McCain thought --- they know she's not up to being president.


It is clear these weird decisions --- Palin and suspending his campaign and cancelling the debate --- are wholly John McCain's decisions, not his staff (which is probably totally aghast and being sedated). So there it is --- McCain went senile on us.
