why do you people even care what people you loathe are doing..........

I think she did fine in the interview. Perhaps a bit nervous to start but she addressed ALL the questions, no dodge like Obama did with Matt Lauer the other day. GAWD the left fears her!

    Darn.

The only other person to do this was Perot in 1992, and everyone agrees he was both crazy and a great disappointment to his supporters (me, for instance).

And I dont see how anyone can say that going to Washington to take place in and lead the measures to pass significant legislation is doing nothing.
Personally, I always thought running for president was "something." No? Not important? Okay, McCain doesn't think running for prez is important.

    Noted.

It's wishful thinking that somehow McCain's campaign is falling apart while Obama's campaign is perfectly alright

It's not wishful thinking, it's the POLLS. The POLLS are turning wildly toward Obama, in big fat blue numerals. Like "4" and "6" and "3.5" even if you don't want to count that "9." Actual data is better than wishing. Well, it means more, anyway.

polls being released showing a third of white Democrats are racists and not voting for Obama.
McCain could have made something of this point if he would have acted reasonably SANE instead of this senility gig.

I'm sorry, white does not make up for senile.

And what reasons do you have for claiming McCain is falling apart? He shows leadership and is going to do something. Holy Crap! Its the end of his campaign.
Exactly. It's the end of his campaign. That's the problem. Suspending his campaign????? He doesn't want to run anymore, doesn't want to debate, is waving and riding off into the sunset?????? You don't think this shows a certain, ah, lack of persistence?

And he picks a VP candidate who is more qualified to run the country than the Democrat Presidential candidate. Holy crap he must be falling apart.
He's falling apart all right: polls show the public's opinion of Sarah Palin has fallen like a rock since the GOP convention. Joe Biden is polling much better than Sarah Palin. I reported all that on another thread. People are not as dumb as McCain thought --- they know she's not up to being president.

It is clear these weird decisions --- Palin and suspending his campaign and cancelling the debate --- are wholly John McCain's decisions, not his staff (which is probably totally aghast and being sedated). So there it is --- McCain went senile on us.

    Game over.

Too bad, really. I was for McCain in 2000, voted for him in the Maryland Republican primary election. That was when he should have been president; he was okay then, could have kept us out of all this awful stuff that happened afterward with Bush in there.

    He just got too old.

Millions are discussing their amazement that Lindsey Lohan is dating an ugly as shit lesbian, probably the very same imbeciles you are talking about....... who could possibly give a shit what you and others like you are texting to each other.
It's Sedona dumb ass, one of the most incredible places on the planet. Sonoma is in Northern California..... wine country. Do you know what the word suspend means? He isn't quitting, he is stopping the rubber chicken dinners and the speeches for however long it takes to get the job he was elected for done. He is acting Presidential unlike the boy that is still stuck in primary mode. Obama is enjoying his trips away from that nasty assed wife of his too much, playing around with his groupies must have him forgetting what he was elected for.

[QUOTE=mundame;300763]The spread of averaged polls since 9/18 is +3.2 in favor of Obama, and some of the latest polls are showing big moves to Obama.
If you look at the link, you'll see a WHOLE lot of blue and only one red poll: a +1 for McCain.[QUOTE]

You calling Sarah Palin stupid is beyond preposterous, on a bad day without any sleep and suffering a stroke, she would still be infinitely more intelligent than you. You are so misinformed that I find it hard to believe that you can even turn on your computer....... who does it for you?

I thought it was excellent - worthy of a good sub-editor from a top quality newspaper. It encapsulated the problems the GOP ticket is facing and it made me want to read on.
