Default Bill Clinton: McCain acted on 'good faith' in debate delay...

ABC News' Nitya Venkataraman Reports: Former President Bill Clinton defended Sen. John McCain's request to delay the first presidential debate, saying McCain did it in "good faith" and pushed organizers to reserve time for economy talk during the debate if the Friday plans move forward.

Appearing on Good Morning America Thursday, Clinton told ABC News' Chris Cuomo that McCain's push to postpone the debate would only be a good political move if both candidates agreed. McCain announced on Wednesday that he would "suspend" his presidential campaign to come to Washington to help negotiate a financial bailout bill.

I'm amused by Clinton's statement that he will campaign for Obama after the Jewish holidays. Now, Rosh Hashanah runs from sundown on Monday September 29 and ends at nightfall on Wednesday October 1. This is followed closely by Yom Kippur which begins at sundown on Wednesday October 8 and ends at nightfall on Thursday October 9. After Yom Kippur you have Sukkot/Shmini Atzeret which spans October 14th thru the 22nd.

This brings me to the question: Which holiday? All of them? Rosh Hashanah only? Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur?

I think McCain has two votes coming in Nov. bill and hill. And probably everyone they can quietly influence.

Of course he doesn't. If Obama does win he will be running as the incumbant in 2012. If McCain wins, Hillary can run again (and we all know how badly they want her in the White House).

Yeppers, that's exactly what they want. Their initial plan, IMO, was a hill/obam ticket. But the obamanation screwed them over. 2012 will be the hill verses Sarah.

With the way things are, economy wise, I would be more apt to support a candidate with business/financial experience. I was Romney supporter when he was a candidate and I would be a supporter again in 2012.

I have no doubt that Romney will have an important position in McCain's cabinet, I was for him also but McCain has grown on me a great deal. Romney and Condi would have been unbeatable.

He was my first pick also, mainly for his business background.
