Default My birthday gift from DH!

We're going to pick her up on Sunday. Elbow Lake is a 3 hour drive one way, so it will be a day trip.

She is the exact breed AND the same name of my childhood dog that passed away some 7-8 years ago, and I never got to say goodbye. I know this puppy isn't the same dog, but it will still feel like i have my Dixie back.

I just bought her a collar and a food dish yesterday and today I will get her some toys and a new crate.

    AWESOME!!

Just a thought, though...When birthdays happen, shouldn't the gifts go to the MOTHER of the kids? I mean...she did all the work...the kid just sorta fell....right?
“… the greatest detractor from high performance is fear: fear that you are not prepared, fear that you are in over your head, fear that you are not worthy, and ultimately, fear of failure. If you can eliminate that fear—not through arrogance or just wishing difficulties away, but through hard work and preparation—you will put yourself in an incredibly powerful position to take on the challenges you face" - Pete Carroll.
