    Default Pulled the Trigger...pun intended

After firing 50 rounds thru a rental at a local gun shop/indoor range, I decided I felt VERY comfortable with the Springfield XD in the .40 version. So - I did it.

My wife shot the 9mm version and felt very comfortable to her - she liked it more than the Glock we also rented. I think she'll get one soon.

congratulations. perhaps, if you are lucky, you'll get to gun down a trick-or-treater who is knocking on your door next halloween.

Nice! It does look just like a Glock. I'll try an post a pic for comparison.

Oh...I like the safety features on it that the glock doesn't have.

Thanks! Mary and I rented tonite - me the xd40 and her the glock - 19? Was it? anywho - after 10 rounds w/ the glock I got her the xd9 which she thought felt nicer in her hand. She put about 30 more round through paper. Kids stood back behind the firing points (wearing goggles/ear protection); it was nice to expose them to the sport and do something 'as a family'

Indeed, I like the safety features as well. Plus, again, the gun just felt right to me.

Nice, congratulations. A buddy of mine picked up an XD .45 a couple of years ago, he loves it.

I'm getting set to plop down the cash for a new Ruger .357.

Hard to beat the Colt 1911. Just make sure you get one bult prior to 1983 or after 1986.

Pick it up in ten days:

This is the KGP-161, I bought the KGP-160. The only difference between the two is there is the 160 has a 1/2 shroud under the barrel.
