And all he did was bamboozle the voters with slick marketing and rhetoric, and pull the wool over the eyes of the media, enough to win an election.

Now they're saying "they don't really know him" (something Republicans were pointing out long BEFORE the election, and asking why the media wasn't "finding out" about him then), and his voters are getting upset that he's saying we'll stay in Iraq much longer than he had previously promised, appointing people like Hillary and Gates, and breaking most other promises he used to get into office.

I'd say that the media itself, should be "Man of the Year" since they did more than anyone else, to influence the course of events in the country this year, particularly in the election. But that would blow their cover (what cover?), so it ain't gonna happen.
