    Default Critical IE Security Flaw

SAN FRANCISCO — Microsoft Corp. is taking the unusual step of issuing an emergency fix for a security hole in its Internet Explorer software that has exposed millions of users to having their computers taken over by hackers.
Microsoft said it has seen attacks targeting the flaw only in Internet Explorer 7, the most widely used version, but has cautioned that all other current editions of the browser are vulnerable.

Why would any person use IE anyway?

if ever anyone needed reason to use firefox, a recent study also showed that Opera and safari were tied worst fir password security. Firefox for the win.
If you also agree that an animals suffering should be avoided rather than encouraged, consider what steps you can take.

I ony use IE at work, because I can't install Firefox on my work PC. Then again, if my work PC gets hacked, it's not my issue.
