Obviously he isn't going to explain anything to me, aggie. Could you do me a favor and tell me what you know about his assertions towards you?!?!?!?!??!?

Ah, you've seen the entirety of them there, inasmuch as "he advocates sex with children and lots of other nasty stuff" was the sentiment he expressed. I'm not interested in dwelling on his lies, of course, which is why I'll be ignoring him in favor of the political discussions.

Disappointed! Not in Eastwood's performance, as usual he was great but the other actors were B-movie or lower quality.

Edit: I'm glad I didn't pay the full theater price.

I just saw the movie a few weeks ago. I liked it, it reminded of how hardcore some of the old timers were that I used to work with.

Incidentally, Unforgiven is the best western I've ever seen.
Don't forget "Pale Rider"...that was a pretty good western too.

I worked with allot of old time union guys when I was an apprentice. Guys that would fire you for having long hair, if you drove a foreign car, if you drank something other than bud or miller, carried foreign made tools..........

I forgot to note that I have seen very few of what most people would consider the best westerns! I know next to nothing about the genre, but I'm starting to appreciate it more.

There are not as many good cowboy actors as there use to be..Clint Eastwood was my favorite, and alot of people claim John Wayne to be the best.

Not sure if you've seen that movie Tombstone with Kurt Russel..That was pretty good..and he played a hell of a good cowboy in that.

It's almost a genre where if one wanted to get into..that one would have to enjoy movies 15 years,or older when produced.

Not to many actors now-a-days that are natural born cowboys...That Unforgivin was a dam good movie..have it in my collection..

I watched this movie last night for the first time. Someone has buggdd me to watch it fior a long time. I kinda thought Clint Eastwoods character was a crabby old man ! He seemed like a jerk and also used lots of racial slurs. Plus he didn't seem loving to his own sons. But I gotta admit when he saved the girl from the gangsters the first time she was haressed, as old as he is I thought mmm he's a sexy mo'fo he he. Then I felt real bad at the ending. Overall it was a good flick but not a favorite.

Unforgiven may be Eastwoods greatest performance ever.

It is the story of an aging man haunted by a violent past who has tried desperately to forget it.
