    Default Not at liberty

I am not. But I will say I had a VERY long phone talk with mee step dad last night, as he is going to the ME. I can't say what for or where, but damn, it pissed me off at first because my mom called me and was crying about it, but he did volunteer. My mom though thought that he would not be chosen, because he was the second on the list, but the first backed out. (Not front lines, can't actually say what "lines".)

Well we talked. He blew me away with his patriatism. Him and I have sure been at loggerheads, but I realized last night how powerful he has been in my life. I was at first worried of course for my mom, being without him, but after talking with him, he is making the right choice. He believes that if our soldiers are giving their lives, and what he is doing is just as important, then we need to stand behind him. I agree.

I knew he did stuff with the military, but never realized how high up he was. I stand at respect. Told him that, but not too much, afterall, he took my bedroom door off my wall as a wee lad because I was slamming it. *must get back*.... LOL.

    I stand proud. Very proud.

Hey, tell your dad he's got millions of TRUE Americans praying for and thinking about him everyday. I wish him and your family well, and God Bless your Dad.

Thanks. I will. He is very proud about this mission, I am too. And damn that door. LOL. But I will you tell you, we did laugh about that door last night, man did we laugh. Kind of a "not really" going away talk, but kind of was. I guess only those in the military would know. That kind of talk.

Funny how him and I truly bonded last night. We have before, sure, but, nothing like last night.

What we are doing is right, it must be, I have no doubt.

Good for your step dad. I send him my best wishes too. Keep us updated as you can, though sounds like you can't talk much about what he's doing. That's ok. Secrets can keep him safe.

I'm not sure if you meant 'taking the door off hinges'? My dad did that once, for over a week. I did nothing to deserve it and still remember it. From what I've seen about your daughter, be careful, she sounds trustworthy. (That doesn't mean 'perfect', but trustworthy.)

Yep off the hinges, she slamed it too many times.

Does kicking the door in count for anything?

Maybe that was 'his' point? I was good at slamming. solid oak door, no harm done. Better than trying to hit someone. Sometimes a slammed door at mom or dad isn't meant at mom or dad. Could have to do with something totally unrelated.

I survived, so will your very smart and beautiful daughter. Just be careful, I love my dad, right now especially. I can still remember his saying I was ungrateful and 'uncontrollable.' Funny thing, I was SOOOO more controllable than most.
