“… the greatest detractor from high performance is fear: fear that you are not prepared, fear that you are in over your head, fear that you are not worthy, and ultimately, fear of failure. If you can eliminate that fear—not through arrogance or just wishing difficulties away, but through hard work and preparation—you will put yourself in an incredibly powerful position to take on the challenges you face" - Pete Carroll.

No idea what that was - I suspect it was a scope of some-sort. The first shot was taken with a 17-55mm f/2.8 @ about 35mm. The second was taken with 70-200mm f/4 lens at about 200mm. The third is a 100% crop of one like the second.

Thanks. I'm gonna PS-out that lamp near the flowering tree in the first pic, when I get back to the house.

You're probably on some watch list now, for taking pics of White House security.

Good one, how great to get that cherry blossom in full bloom....I sneezed it was so vivid. 100% crop!! Very clean!

I would take that lamp out too, no reason to keep it in....the landscapers blew it by not hiding it, no use ruining a great shot. You even got the flag blowing nicely.
