2006 had idiots firing guns along the Indian parade route. 2007 had 2 deaths and 7 injuries from some shootouts during the event. 2008 had about 10 shots fired around St. Charles, and now this.

You can say that again, when the wife and I lived there it was about 3 a night and that was just in the NO area not the greater metropolitan area that included Algiers, Meterie, Kenner, Westwego, Gretna, and Terry town plus a number I am forgetting. If you put them all together there were usually around 5 shootings a night EVERY night.......
