AOL Poll: 48% doubt Obamas eligibility due to birth status

Regardless of what the article says, the poll says 48% of nearly 500,000 doubt his eligibility. Its not scientific or a huge number. I would like to see it go away but until he answers the question it appears that it is going to gain momentum because it looks like he is hiding something.

Sorry, I used the word riot too liberally (no pun intended) I meant like street protests and marches, to show public support for the legal process.

Exactly. So all you'll see with this Obama thing is a court challenge, and liberals dismissing it as a bunch of hoey. But this issue won't go away.

I doubt, if it goes all the way to the supreme court, and THEY rule that Obama is eligible to be president, that the conservatives let go of it even then.

It all depends on how the conservatives in the court vote. If its a 5-4 decision in a court stacked with liberals, then conservatives will never let it go. Especially if one or more of the liberals are Obama appointees.

Here's the issue, either he is or isn't eligible! there is NO GREY AREA. You would not have a split SCOTUS. it would be all or nothing.......

In a nutshell Noir. Conservative are generaly AT WORK and don't have the time to demonstrate. Liberals on the other hand are by and large the VAST majority of welfare recipients so they have a lot of time on their hands and also a vested interest in keeping the entitelments flowing........
