Apparently when Obama said "Yes we can.", "we" didn't include the citizens.

How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

Default U.S. regulatory czar nominee wants Net 'Fairness Doctrine'

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.p...w&pageId=96301 (yah i know it is WND, i was bored and surfing...)

Excuse me? how about no? trying to regulate what we can say now?

Barack Obama's nominee for "regulatory czar" has advocated a "Fairness Doctrine" for the Internet that would require opposing opinions be linked
this is semi-understandable. should always let the other stance have a say blah bla blah, even when a five year old could search and find it in 30 seconds or less. because you know when someone says something, absolutely no one will give a different viewpoint of it haha.

this is the part that gets me.
also has suggested angry e-mails should be prevented from being sent by technology that would require a 24-hour cooling off period.
so...it was bad to check for e-mails that might be linked to terrorism...but it's ok to now stop every e-mail because they might be "angry" and "anti-demorcratic"? ridiculous

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. How freaking difficult is it to find an opposing point of view? Is there honestly a subject online that no one disagrees with? I mean come on!
If we were as industrious to become good as to make ourselves great, we should become really great by being good, and the number of valuable men would be much increased; but it is a grand mistake to think of being great without goodness; and i pronounce it as certain that there was never yet a truly great man that was not at the same time truly virtuous." - Ben Franklin
