Default So there was this earthquake

When I was nine years old, I was sleeping when the Northridge earthquake threw me out of bed and screaming into my sister's room. Took my parents quite some time to explain to me what an earthquake was.

On Sunday evening, a much smaller quake briefly shook our home. My daughter wasn't as much frightened as curious. So we turned on the TV and explained to her about what earthquakes were.

Yet another reason why I have become less and less intrigued by politics and current events and more interested in the continuing lessons of parenthood.
After all, shows about animals and foreign countries are much more entertaining than a bunch of political talking heads attempting to pin blame on each other.

Hi Gabby! Is that you and your daughter in the pic? Both are very cute.

    Nice to see you again.
