    Arrow *Global Warming Turned Cold???*

    Sorry bout that,

    1. Damn the experts.
    2. Whats all this cold ass weather?
    3. Here in Texas we had a Spring for once in like 45 years, most times, when winters over, we hit summer.
    4. Seems the climate is going towards *Ice Age*.
    5. Is thats what our combustion engines are causing after all?
    6. Have an expert explain it to me, again.
    7. I just can't get enough of all this warming/cooling,...hehehe.
    8. Heres a story all about the new cooling down we are seeing.

"The cloudy, chilly and rainy open to June here has been the talk of the town. So far this June is running more than 12 degrees cooler than last year, and the clouds, rain and chilly lake winds have been persistent. The average temperature at O'Hare International Airport through Friday has been only 59.5 degrees: nearly 7 degrees below normal and the coldest since records there began 50 years ago."

So far, June's chill is one for the records

The cloudy, chilly and rainy open to June here has been the talk of the town. So far this June is running more than 12 degrees cooler than last year, and the clouds, rain and chilly lake winds have been persistent. The average temperature at O'Hare International Airport through Friday has been only 59.5 degrees: nearly 7 degrees below normal and the coldest since records there began 50 years ago.

More bad weather is on the way Saturday with a cold rain expected to linger through the bulk of the morning. Rainfall could be heavy -- especially north of the city, which would be a reversal of Thursday's deluge that targeted the southern suburbs.

    Better days ahead
Encouraging signs in recent computer runs signal a change to more typical June weather which by now should feature daily highs around 80 degrees. A return of sunshine should boost temperatures well into the 70s Sunday and Monday, though lake cooling will continue. By midweek a northward shift in the jet stream promises a steady diet of highs in the 80s, though showers and thunderstorms are likely to accompany the warm-up.

How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

The climate is going to do what it has always done....change! That would be
with or without us. We need to learn the fine art of adaptation and abandon
the belief that "normal" is how things are in our small lifetimes. We are just
a blip in time....Spotted Al is a very large blip I must add.
What are reparations? Making me pay
for something I had nothing to do with compensates no one
who suffered an injustice therefore I would be penalized for
something I didnt do and someone else would receive a settlement
for an injury they did not suffer.

Those with brains will adapt. Those without will blame and die off.
When I die I'm sure to go to heaven, cause I spent my time in hell.

to the best of my knowledge we've not hit '90F this year, we've have had trouble getting to 80's:

Chicago gets 9th 80-degree day of month
    By Tom Skilling
    July 22, 2009
Chicago's official high temperature Tuesday topped out at 80 degrees -- only the ninth time readings have reached 80 or higher this month -- as driving downpours drenched sections of northwest Illinois and eastern Iowa, with some areas reporting 3 inches or more of rain. Hardest hit was the area surrounding Dubuque and Galena. Totals included 3.10 inches at Asbury and Maquoketa, both in Iowa, and 2.24 inches in Dubuque. The totals equaled a full July's rainfall at many locations and began just after daybreak.

The cool summer has impacted Great Lakes water temperatures. Each lake is running 5 to 9 degrees below levels observed at this time a year ago. Chicago's water temperature near Navy Pier is 5 degrees off last year's 74-degree reading.

The Chicago area is not alone in stunning lack of summer 90s. Cooler than normal weather has been the rule this summer not only in Chicago, but in much of the eastern half of the nation. While Chicago has logged only about a third of its normal 90s to date, Boston and New York have both recorded 25 percent or less...
