    Default Congratulations Car Nuts!

Following the same "logic" as Gabosaurus did on his/her thread:

Today is yet another victory for the unrestricted and unfiltered right to own a car! Preferably an SUV or other Huge Vehicle (more damage that way).
Yes, I know. Cars do not kill people. People who can buy Cars whenever and however they want kill people. Again and again.
So let's party down and celebrate the American right to commit mass murders!

Louisiana State Police brace for drunk driving arrests

After a record year of drunk driving arrests, Louisiana State Police are bracing for more. Last year in the Troop G area -- the seven parishes of Northwestern Louisiana -- troopers made 1,099 DWI arrests. And since roughly half of all fatalities involve drunk drivers, the LSP is asking the public to help them fight the deadly danger on our roads.

Whether it's from trips to the great outdoors, or an outdoor festival, as the weather warms up police see more drunk drivers on the roads. If you see one weaving around the road... Trooper Cordell Williams says police could use your help.

"A trooper or a city police officer or a sheriffs deputy can not be at every place at one time, William says. "We depend upon the citizens to make those call phone calls to help us out."

"If you spot a drunk driver on the road, there's easy way for you to get in touch with Louisiana State Police on your cell phone by dialing *LSP.

"Be ready to give your location, your direction of travel, and a description of the suspected vehicle," Williams says. "The desk sergeant will then contact the trooper in that appropriate area. We will respond and attempt to locate a violation on that vehicle."

Trooper Williams says you can stay and give the arresting officer a statement, in which case you may be called to court. Or he says you can remain anonymous and continue on your way. Williams says the LSP will not track you down on your cell phone if you choose to keep going and remain anonymous.

You can also dial 911 to reach your local authorities if you spot a drunk driver.

True. The libs own "death", i.e., abortion, assisted suicide, etc..
