I'm an Indian, one with a Spanish surname, as many Indians of the U.S. Southwest and Latin America possess, but considering them "Hispanic" because of the application of Spanish names to them and their usage of Spanish is no more valid than considering African-Americans "Anglos" because of the application of English names to them and their usage of English.
