Equal Rights for Americans should never be an issue. Regardless of race, creed, or color we are all guaranteed equal rights under the Constitution of the United States of America. Many Americans feel that because of their sexual preference homosexuals should be treated differently and not be allowed to enjoy the same basic privileges that heterosexual Americans enjoy. My personal opinion is their sexual preference should not be a deciding factor in how they are treated and the Rights that they enjoy. Another favorite quote is how gays are destroying the morality of America. I say that is not true. Homosexuals have been around for many years and even with the decision that they could legally wed in certain states the cry was America would crumble. Well, sorry to say, life has gone on and nothing has changed. HogTrash seems to feel I have been programmed because I live the Libertarian principles of individual freedom. I am asking him to change my mind and without calling me politically correct, show me why homosexuals do not deserve the same rights as homosexuals.

Problem is there is no correct answer to that question. If I say mine he will say I admit defeat and refuse to debate me. If I say his then he calls me a gay lover, fag, or whatever other catch phrase is contained in his monosyllabic vocabulary. It's his way of getting out of debating an issue without being able to hide behind name-calling.

I tried to take the high road this time. Sorry it didn't work.

It's never going to happen...Hog's a one-trick pony. "Political Correctness" is the only reason he can conceive of for why someone might disagree with one of his opinions. It's proof positive he's not mentally fit to debate anyone on any topic. I will give him kudos on being self-aware of his inabilities enough to avoid getting in way over his head.
