I started coloring the silver in high school, I got carded til nearly 35. Now I go through periods of letting the hair grow out, then go back to coloring again. Right now with looking for jobs, gonna go darker again. I hate that though, my hair grows fast.
That's why I started the blond highlights a couple of years ago. The highlights disguise the gray, and yet I don't have to have it done that often like I did when I was keeping it darker. Now, everything blends. As soon as I get a camera that can take a picture that I can upload to this computer I'll get a recent picture.

Yeah, I did that too for a long time. With so much silver though, the highlights and low lights disappear nearly as quickly as my roots start showing with the dark. The silver is super resistant to color. It's tough on the hair too, which is why I think once I get a position, I'll let it go silver again.

my wife's aunt had silver hair back when we married, she was in her 40s....my wife colored hers for years and then decided to go natural last year to see what happened.....

she started out as a brunette and now it's gray with sort of a gold undertone.....I call her blond and tell her I always wondered what it would be like to marry a blond...

My natural color was auburn. Now it's getting hard to remember, but I have the temperament to go with it.

PB - if you email the pic to me I'll post it for you - OR, if you send me the URL for the image, I'll post it for you.

Spurred on by a)no longer having a beard b) dying of boredom as I'm snowed in to a hotel a pic taken moments ago (and yeah it's taken in the bathroom as it's the only room with decent lights, all these 'Eco-lights' are well and good at saving energy but they do tend to be pretty bad at, er, lighting..)

If you also agree that an animals suffering should be avoided rather than encouraged, consider what steps you can take.

    That's really an awesome picture.

    Missing tooth? Check.

    Mullet? Pristine.

    Knocked up bride? Check.

Smoking knocked up bride in the white dress? Zomg Check.

    Flip flops? Comfortably present.

NASCAR tattoo on left breast? Jeff Gordon would approve.

Sleeveless Tux with Flannel shirt underneath? Check.

One can of beer ready for consumption? Hell yeah.

    Rottie? Roger that.

Camper trailer with a porch? Standing by.

Work boots & Ripped up Levis? Yup.

Someone worked on that for a while, I didn't notice all the redneck details at first.
