Goggle going to rediect

I've never had or heard about this problem. I can get to a google page via a search but when I click on something on the google page to go read it redirects me to various other for pay search pages that I have never heard of at all. I just want to go to the sites that I clicked on from the goggle search page. Does anyone else know anything about this? In addition, I'm having pages popping up that I am not calling for and when I x them out they close but my machine freezes up. Then again, sometimes when I click on something off my desktop like DP it comes here then redirects to a cprg.com or something like that, I close out of it and it immediately puts me back in DP. As a computer ignoramous this is driving me completely nuttier!!!!!!

If any one can help or offer advise I'm all ears.

sounds like you got your self a hijaker...I would start with downloading

See if that helps if not sounds like it may have embedded itself in your registry. If that's the case download hijack this and do a a scan and save log file DO NOT REMOVE ANYTHING and post log file here and I will take a look at it and see what you have that should not be there.
