I just checked on this. Sure enough, "Bush resigns" ran in the chyron at 12:01 a.m. EST. That was the only run and someone went back and covered their tracks. I got my boss to run the digital air-record for me and I saw it. After that we checked the actual font version. Seems someone went back and covered their tracks. It didn't run again. Either someone was playing a bad joke or those guys down in the cnni studio aren't getting enough coffee. As the board's resident media emissary, I apologize to all you guys. We'll try harder to match Faux News' standards.
