    My garden didn't produce a whole lot this year...not enough rain and too hot. But, I did get a few Lemon cucumbers to grow and they were pretty good. If I get more I might see how they do as refrigerator pickles.

    We had to water the hell out of our garden this year and the output was poor in comparison to years past, but we have gotten a few cucumbers. Another good thing I like to do with cucumbers is to slice them up and toss them along with sliced red onion in Italian dressing, salt and pepper and eat. YUMMY.

    Nope, but I have boiled eggs and then left them to sit overnight in the juice pickling them. Yumm....

    We've sliced onion, cucumber and then let them set overnight in a bowl of vinegar with a bit of sugar added. Yumm.............

    Yep...my mom used to feed us those as a side at dinner sometimes...very good.
