    Portuguese Egg Nog

    Ingredients

    • 2 Fluid ounce spiced rum (Cruzan 9 spiced rum works well - balancing molasses sweetness and winter spices)
    • 1 Fluid ounce ruby port
    • 1 Large egg (make sure the eggs are fresh and from a trusted source to help avoid any food-borne illnesses)
    • 1/4 Cup sugar (mix half white and half brown sugar to bring out the molasses flavors of the rum even more)
    • 8 Fluid ounce whole milk
    • 1/2 Teaspoon freshly-grated nutmeg
    • 1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon
    • 2 dashes orange or ginger bitters

    Preparation

    Step 1:

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and frappe until the sugar dissolves and the egg is completely incorporated. The deep red of the port will be muted, but this stuff will look decidedly different than your usual eggnog.
    Step 2:

Serve in lowball glasses and grate fresh nutmeg over top. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and leave a fresh glass for the big man.

    Candy Cane

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 Fluid ounce Chambord
    • 3/4 Fluid ounce Peppermint Schnapps
    • 3/4 Fluid ounce white Crème de Cacao
    • 1 Tablespoon grenadine
    • Splash of half and half
    • Splash of tonic
    Preparation

    Step 1:

Pour everything but the half and half and tonic into a cocktail shaker full of ice and shake vigorously until well-chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass and top off with the half and half and enough tonic to cut the sweetness and give the drink a little effervescent kick. Garnish with a mini candy cane. If you want to score some serious brownie points with the man in red, pair one of these up with Rice Krispie treats. Sure, it sounds weird, but so does a man flying through the night sky on a reindeer-powered sleigh.

    Silent Night Chocolate Martini

    Ingredients

    • 1 Fluid ounce vodka (Vermont Gold's maple overtones make it a natural choice)
    • 1 Fluid ounce chocolate liqueur (Godiva is an easy pick, but Mozart provide even deeper chocolate flavor)
    • 1/2 Fluid ounce coffee liqueur
    • 1/2 Fluid ounce Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur
    Preparation

    Step 1:

Pour all ingredients into a shaker full of ice and shake until ice cold. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and drizzle chocolate syrup over top for a truly decadent look.

Had some friends talking about drinks made with cotton candy vodka. Never heard of it,but sounded good. So, I looked up a recipe online.

Cotton Candy Martini - Cotton Candy Cosmo

1 1/2 oz Pinnacle Cotton Candy Vodka
1/2 oz X Rated Fusion Liquor
1 oz Cranberry juice (100% pure)
A nice size handful of cotton candy
    Sugar for rimming the glass.

Please Note this is for 1 martini, if you would like to make a whole shaker full of cotton candy cosmo martinis just simply multiply the ingredients. TIP:This is a strong drink, add more cranberry to dilute, the flavor will still be a carnival ride for your taste buds.

    Directions:

In a martini shaker add Ice, cotton candy vodka, X Rated, and cranberry juice. shake until well mixed and chilled. Rim your martini glass in sugar or rub cotton candy around it. Take a heaping handful of cotton candy and place in your martini glass and slowly pour the contents of the shaker directly over the cotton candy. OMG watch the cotton candy just disappear and crystallize at the bottom of the martini glass.

This is the most amazing cocktail I've found.

    The chocolate cake shooter.

    1 part Citron vodka
    1 part frangelico hazelnut
    lemon wedge& sugar

Put in a shaker with ice, shake and pour into 1oz shots. Immediately after taking the shot, suck lemon wedge coated in sugar--it really tastes like chocolate cake--amazing!

Intrigued by frangelico liquor, I looked up other recipes and found this one. Haven't tried it yet-- too many ingredients for my limited liquor cabinet, but it involves fire...so it's great in my book.

    Bigfoot's Toasted Marshmallow Cocktail

    Ingredients

    • 1 oz frangelico
    • 1 oz vanilla vodka
    • 1 oz baileys irish cream
    • 1 oz butterscotch schnapps
    • 1 marshmallow
    • fire! (my favorite ingredient)

Preparation Combine the frangelico, vodka, baileys and butterscotch schnapps in a cocktail shaker with several ice cubes. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Toast a marshmallow, your method is up to you, but the coolest way is a little 151 in a highball.
