Default More Americans Oppose OWS Than Support it

Looks like all the violence, drug use, rapes, and rascist comments have taken their toll. Now people are seeing what the hippies and liberals are really all about

And they do not like it

So I hope Obama, the Dems, and liberal media keep openly supporting them until November 2012

A new poll from Quinnipiac University finds that more Americans view the Occupy Wall Street protests unfavorably than positively.
Just 30 percent of Americans have a favorable view of the protests, while 39 percent do not. Among independent voters, the spread is 29-42 against — a warning sign for Democrats who are trying to bring the movement into the mainstream.

Last month, a CNN poll found that 32 percent of Americans supported the movement, while 29 percent viewed it unfavorably.

Support for the Occupy Wall Street movement appears to fall along one cultural line — college graduates have positive views of the movement almost as much as they have negative views, by a 38-42 margin. Among those without a college degree, 26 percent support the movement, while 37 percent oppose.

How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

Over the weekend, it was learned the hippies make lousy speed bumps and hood ornaments

Is it any wonder the public is turning on the hippies and no longer buying the glowing media coverage they are getting?

Hundreds of Occupy D.C. Protesters Block Conservatives From Leaving Summit

Hundreds of Occupy D.C. protesters descended on the city’s convention center Friday night, blocking the streets around where a conservative group was gathered for an annual summit.
Demonstrators staged a “sit in” around the convention center for several hours and barred individuals inside from leaving the area, the Washington Post reported.

Three protesters were struck by a car, authorities told the Post. They were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“The protesters were apparently trying to block the roadway,” D.C. police Lt.

Christopher Micciche told the Associated Press. “It was essentially an accident where three individuals were injured but they were in violation by being in the roadway.”

Micciche said the car’s driver was not cited because he had a green light when his vehicle struck the protesters, who “either ran toward or jumped in front of the moving vehicle.” He said one pedestrian jumped on the hood of the car. One of them was cited for being in the roadway.

Protesters surrounded the driver’s car and shouted “Shame!” before he left, D.C.’s local Fox affiliate reported.

Occupy D.C. posted on its Twitter account that several protesters were arrested, though police told media outlets there had been no arrests.

Videos posted to YouTube and Twitter show large crowds massed in front of the convention center, chanting and shouting where the Americans for Prosperity “Defending the American Dream” summit was taking place. Americans for Prosperity is funded in part by Charles and David Koch, the brothers who run Koch Industries — apparently part of the reason protesters targeted the event.

    Default Looking for more detail

I tried to find more detail on what this movement is all about.

All I see so far is that they're lazy and don't want to work to be wealthy. (isn't this how communism starts? with everyone being forced to be equal economically, then with all the control the Gov't has they becomes mad with power?)

In other words, those of us that have to work for our money, and have tried to get a good set in life, are in the wrong, and should stop being so successful. Curse us for trying to live good lives, we should just mooch off everyone else! (sarcasm)

My mom once put this view into easier terms. I had worked for hours one day bailing hay, only made about 20 bucks. I felt really good about it, and mom said to give my siblings 5 bucks each, cause it wasn't fair that they have no money, and I have all of it. I told her "NO! I worked hard for this!" "exactly" she said.
Thus, the liberal way of thinking.
