Also a Different Take (Modernization) on "Southern Comfort" or "Quiet Cool" would fit todays audiences...

They are not Woody Allen or Spike Lee Films ,thats for sure... ( But Quiet Cool was as obscure as Limited Release could be)

Which Southern Comfort? The one with Keith Carradine and Powers Boothe from 1981 or the other one about the Tranny with cancer?
In either case, a remake is not necessary
Southern Comfort (1981) is too good to be remade and no one wants to see a Tranny get cancer twice...I think.
