I came into the thread because I am interested in what Logroller has to say. He is running as Veep you know. I read the question and answered it. You then responded to my answer and I merely responded to you.

Buddha and Jesus aren't equivalent. Jesus died for YOUR sins. Buddha showed the path to enlightenment. When he died said, "Be a light unto yourself". He showed the path to enlightenment.

His teachings liberate us from suffering.

I know what Buddha and Buddhism are. I merely answered the question proposed. To each their own I suppose.

And I believe Jesus is tougher too. He took all of that abuse, and I seen him kick Santa Clauses ass on an episode of South Park!

I didn't troll; People just take it too seriously. If one can't see a light-hearted comparison for what it is, then my apologies. But in all likelihood, the reason those liberals bailed was because they had a position they held righteous and dignified proven to be an outright fallacy and couldn't be adult enough to admit they were wrong.... Preferring to drop it and/or leave instead. Not my problem either way; but I'm not going about casting stones.

I think it's best for everyone if they pray/meditate for guidance, understanding and humility. Regardless of who one prays to, a clear heart and conscience is superior to the righteousness of one's diety.
