Buddha and Jesus aren't equivalent. Jesus died for YOUR sins. Buddha showed the path to enlightenment. When he died said, "Be a light unto yourself". He showed the path to enlightenment.

His teachings liberate us from suffering.

    Jesus is clearly smarter.

Jesus is a man and a God.

Buddha is a state of being. Buddha means "awake" in Sanskrit. The word for "buddha" in Tibetan is san jay, which means to "to clear away" and "to unfold".

I know what Buddha and Buddhism are. I merely answered the question proposed. To each their own I suppose.

And I believe Jesus is tougher too. He took all of that abuse, and I seen him kick Santa Clauses ass on an episode of South Park!

No problem. Let Jesus be your role model. I didn't start this thread. Logroller trolled.

BTW, I hope you're happy. You chased away the other liberals who were posting here.

That's why I answered Log, he started the thread, I added my opinion.

And I didn't chase anyone away or ban anyone. They're free to stay and free to go. But in no way do I, or anyone else, "chase" anyone away.

I didn't troll; People just take it too seriously. If one can't see a light-hearted comparison for what it is, then my apologies. But in all likelihood, the reason those liberals bailed was because they had a position they held righteous and dignified proven to be an outright fallacy and couldn't be adult enough to admit they were wrong.... Preferring to drop it and/or leave instead. Not my problem either way; but I'm not going about casting stones.

    Dragon summed up the answer.

but Jesus is smarter becuase he knows how to rise from the dead.
And since he's God, he made Budha and every other smartest person.
It is proper to take alarm at the first experiment on our liberties. The freeman of America did not wait till usurped power had strengthened itself by exercise, and entangled the question in precedents. James Madison

I've spoken to a few of them and they felt uncomfortable. I'm bummed. That means I'm on my own.

I think it's best for everyone to think Jesus is smarter and superior to buddha.

I think it's best for everyone if they pray/meditate for guidance, understanding and humility. Regardless of who one prays to, a clear heart and conscience is superior to the righteousness of one's diety.
