Default 'Family Feud' star Richard Dawson dies at 79

Family Fued and Match Game were two of my favorite games shows as a kid...this is manily what I remember about him. Didn't really watch Hogan's Heros that much.

Richard Dawson, the British actor and comedian best known for kissing every female contestant he could get his hands on in the television game show "Family Feud," has died his son said Sunday.
"It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my father passed away this evening from complications due to esophageal cancer. He was surrounded by his family. He was an amazing talent, a loving husband, a great dad, and a doting grandfather. He will be missed but always remembered," Gary Dawson said in a posting on Facebook.

I do not know the man's political views nor do I care. I liked him as an actor and for what I could see of him as a caring man. May he rest in peace..-Tyr

Yeah...there was always something about the way he carried himself that I liked. Kind of smooth, cool, laid back....whatever 'it' was. He definately had an interesting presence.

I can't prove it, but I suspect the Good Mr Dawson scored a lot of tail.
“… the greatest detractor from high performance is fear: fear that you are not prepared, fear that you are in over your head, fear that you are not worthy, and ultimately, fear of failure. If you can eliminate that fear—not through arrogance or just wishing difficulties away, but through hard work and preparation—you will put yourself in an incredibly powerful position to take on the challenges you face" - Pete Carroll.

Exactly my suspicions as well. He was way cooooool and had a hint of badboy behaviour in his demeanor.

Good for him if he did as I've always thought that was the way to go..
Ok, up until MY CURRENT WIFE TAUGHT ME THAT SHE WOULDNT TOLERATE EVEN ONE INCIDENT..-
Before we married she said, you stray I go away. She meant it too...I like that kind of fierce determination..-Tyr

The article said family feud producers estimated he kissed around 20,000 women during his hosting stint. The law of averages would support your premise.

Default Sad to see him go.

How many of us still remember those Golden Moments of Richard?

Like every person we know, and do not know. Even me...Our day will come.

Like Richard. I intend to have as much fun, and experience all the love I can before my time runs out.

What bothers me is, when someone says "The good die young". I wonder what the limits are, or definitions of YOUNG happen to be. Since my body tells me. I've been passing that Young stage for quite a long time now.

SO...Just in case "Young" for me happens to be tonight, or tomorrow.

Good Bye all. I've had a good time...short, but Good here.
I love to make Liberals Cry, and Whine.
    So, this is for them.
