I've never understood the roots of the word 'humane'. I understand the reasoning-- no undue suffering-- but really, I think killing is killing. Not saying its right or wrong, unjustifiable or what not, but in the end its taking a life and the ethical consideration of humaneness seems a bit circumspect to act itself.
