American Flags From Apollo Missions Still Standing
American flags planted on the moon by Apollo astronauts are still standing, still casting shadows.
NASA sent six crews to land on the moon between 1969 and 1972. New photos from NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter show all flags standing except the one posted by Apollo 11. That was not a surprise; astronaut Buzz Aldrin had reported he saw the flag blown over by the exhaust from their ship’s engine as they left the lunar surface.

I would imagine that there is not a lot on the moon to disturb those flags.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Those flags will probably be standing long after the last person is gone from the Earth.
I remember the opening scene from the movie "Independence Day". It shows the plaque left by the astronauts on the moon vibrating as the alien ship went past the Moon on its way to the Earth... that wouldn't happen... with no air to conduct the vibration of the ship there would be no vibrations on the Moon.
