Iranians fooled by The Onion

The Onion, a spoof news site, published a story stating that rural whites in the U.S. preferred Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Barrack Obama.
The official Iranian news agency Fars ( http://english.farsnews.com/ ) liked the story so much that they posted it verbatim on their web site. Carefully leaving out the part about Ahmadinejad denying the Holocaust and having political prisoners executed.

Yet another reason to read The Onion.
