So, OK. Gunny, can you point to inaccuracies in the accounts being posted ? Or tell us that there is NO lesson to be learned from the many HUNDREDS of such accounts disseminated ?

My thinking on this is clear and straightforward. However tempting, however superficially comforting, it may be to think 'warm, fuzzy feelings' toward practitioners of a creed which generates all that we can read about here .... there comes a time, like it or not, when you have to realise that indulgence in ostrich-posturing achieves precisely nothing of value.

I challenge anyone, yourself included, to wade through all the many pages of this thread, read all the many accounts of atrocities clearly done in the name of Islam, and genuinely emerge from it believing 'it's all down to coincidence, and Islam isn't remotely at fault' ... !!!!!!

And if you think you can do that, Gunny, then I'd like to hear your explanation of how it is that so many such acts come to be perpetrated ... and by so many groups ... from so many different locations ..... ??
