Reminded me of "Gladiator". A short speech, but one I have more or less memorized and one of the best in any movie!! This is when Commodus gets angry that Maximus dares turn his back on him in the arena:

My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.

Shane (knowing his days are numbered): The difference is I know it.
Ryker: All right. So we'll all turn in our six-guns to the bartender. We'll all start hoeing spuds. Is that it?
Shane: Not quite yet.
