As new weekly jobs numbers emerged Thursday showing a jump in unemployment claims and a report released the previous day showed the economy shrinking in late 2012, President Obama is effectively laying off his jobs council. The layoff -- which comes in the form of the administration not renewing the council, which sunsets Thursday -- takes off the table a first-term panel set up to field ideas from the business community for spurring growth. But the administration was accused all along of never taking full advantage of the group at a time when the economy desperately needed those ideas.

My take is obama expands it deliberately and curently gives us--Gladiator games!
Yes just one new crisis after another , one new controversy after another., No need to worry about the economy because obam gives us fights over ,1. gun control/2nd amendment, 2. gay marraige/rights/agenda, 4.war on women/women in combat, 5. AMNESTY/ILLEGALS 6. more healthcare freedom stealing regulations, 7. foreign billion dollar gifts to our enemies-(EGYPT-MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD) ETC.
Just like Rome did to distract when it was decaying-- more, bigger /better gladiator games and lions eating Christians etc..

This sums up the Obama economy and that "recovery" we were told about.

Now that Obama never has to face the voters again - screw that jobs council. He never met with them for over a year anyway

Obama is more dedicated to ramming thru a tax and spend agenda, growing the size of government, and pushing social issues rather then putting people back to work
