Authorities MUST have realized that was a suspicious situation. Pedophiles always, always go where the children are and try to get control over children. It's not rocket science. If a man is doing that, best assume he's boinking them! Darn.

There is certainly a role for men in Scouts and sports and so on, but with trust-but-verify controls, with other people around and parent involvement and so on. This guy just took ownership of a lot of small boys and had him a big ol' time.

It's common, really. Jerry Sandusky did the same stuff. I'm amazed authorities never seem to figure it out BEFORE.
