We need to remind ourselves that marriage laws are part of the duty of states. Who suspects Cheney does not support his daughter? Portman backs his child too.
Now, if the Feds get into this, one expects them to seek full counsel from all states and go with the majority.
We miss the Senators working for states far more than we seem to think.
