Broke out the slow cooker and browned some country style pork ribs with a little garlic. Added a 1/2 cup pineapple juice (from a can of chunk pineapple), 1/3 cup each of soy sauce and ketchup, 3 Tbsp brown sugar and 2 Tbsp cider vinegar. Cook 6 hours, first hour on high then switch to low. halfway through add the pineapple chunks. Serve it over rice. The meat gets very tender and flavorful.
